Precedents

arnhem mode biennale 2011
fashion installations which you can find at the Akzo Nobel area in the city.

patrik ervell is a fashion designer this is  his exhibition of his collection at the arnhen mode biennale.
I have really taken to how he has actually displayed the clothing because I think in my concept of re-thinking retail and doing a physical 'take' on online shopping, having this clean cut display techniques of the clothing correlates perfectly with how you view clothing on the online stores. Online you have the ability to click (generally) two if not more perspectives of the clothing item usually in parallel projection giving you a full view of the front of the garment and also the back. I want to have the clothing displayed like this in my stall so the clients are able to view the clothing for purchase as the would online but in real life size.

(top right image of sanctury)The zoo has a new entrance which adds to its charm. The project was completed in 2010 and it was designed by Hassell architects. There are many interesting elements that define this place. For example, it features Australia’s first purpose-designed green roof.
It was designed to support wildlife shelter and living walls. The Entrance Precinct, on which we’re focusing right now, features a series of interlinked forecourts that cover 2000 square meters. They create a smooth connection and transition and they also provide access to cafes and exhibitions. Here you can also find a series of mesmerizing living walls and green roofs.

Deconstructed "Dress Boy" Chairs

No-artist: An interesting way to hang clothes of to introduce into the minimalistic space wit ha linear touch through the base of the fold out chairs. Also allowing a convenient space for clothes storage on top.
